Meet the HR Team – Brittany Fritz

Brittany L. Fritz, MPS, BSBA, SHRM-CP, PHR: Senior HR Consultant

Senior HR Consultant Brittany Fritz has 12 years of HR experience and specialties in employee relations, labor relations and talent development to the table. The Lancaster resident completed her bachelor in business administration degree at Bloomsburg University and her master’s degree in professional studies, human resources and employment at Penn State University. Brittany also earned her labor relations certificate from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.

It was in college that she realized she wanted to make Human Resources a career. Says Brittany, “I was taking an Intro to HR class and during the first week of class we watched a video about a company named ‘SAS.’ The video highlighted the HR function, and specifically what made it such a great place to work. I knew that I wanted to be a part of something like that. I wanted to help to develop company cultures and recognize and value employees.”

The Sour Patch Kid Watermelon candy fan starts her day at the gym (it’s all about balance after all), explaining that it sets her mood for the day ahead and is a great motivator. As a mother to daughter Emalyn, 8, and son Lawson, 5, she ends most days tucking them into bed, even though she yearns for quiet time with a cup of tea and a book. Rounding out the family is Brittany’s fiancé, Ryan Kolb, and her black lab, Riley, 4.

Brittany is admittedly a “huge dog lover” and has fostered puppies for many years. She recalls, “I think we have had a total of 11 foster puppies come stay with us until they were old enough to be adopted. Miraculously, I only had one “foster fail” along the way. We fostered Riley for about a week before we decided to make her a permanent member of our family.”

Brittany also enjoys traveling and says her greatest adventure was likely at the age of 17 when her parents sent her on a trip to France. “It was the coolest experience and I got to see so many amazing places,” she says. “My favorite would have to have been Le Mont Saint Michael and Notre Dame.”

Her must-do list fittingly includes traveling with her children as much as possible before they graduate. Says Brittany, “I would love to take a European family vacation and really dig into the history of the places we visit. That would be a memory that lasts a lifetime.”
