TOM HUBRIC
President
Tom founded Hubric Resources with his wife and business partner, Kim, in 2003, and is responsible for the business’ day-to-day operations. Tom explains, "We provide Human Resources (HR) consulting services to help employers ranging in size from four employees to more than 14,000 hire and manage their employees to more effectively run their business. That’s what makes Hubric Resources unique. Our diverse team gives us the ability to work with employers of all sizes and in all industries.”
Tom has over 30 years of experience under his belt and holds an AA degree in Business from RACC, a BA in Business from Alvernia University and an MBA from Kutztown University. Tom has also served as a senior consultant and in interim executive level HR positions (i.e.: Executive Director and CEO roles for the not-for-profit sector). Tom's background is quite diversified - he has assisted clients in receivership roles, is a certified EEOC trainer, has taught HR classes at local universities and is a regular presenter on various HR subjects.
Tom is a member of the Berks County Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the National Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the Northern Lancaster Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Reading Chamber Alliance, and the Small Business Resource Association. With a passion for animal welfare (and having 3 pets of his own), Tom also serves as the Board President for the Animal Rescue League of Berks County.
Tom is an avid boater and enjoys spending his weekends reeling in fish at his family’s cabin on the Susquehanna River. Tom also loves spending time and traveling with his wife and three daughters, Courtney, Camryn & Ella. He just started a father/daughter project restoring a vintage boat and is hoping it will float someday soon.

KIM HUBRIC
Vice President
Kim is a founding partner of Hubric Resources, bringing over twenty-five years of progressive human resources leadership and experience to the firm. Kim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Bloomsburg University, a Master of Business Administration degree from Kutztown University, and is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). She is a member of both the National Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the local Berks County SHRM Chapter.
Kim chose the field (and ultimately career) of HR from an inspirational Bring Your Daughter to Work Day. Kim can be described as a strategic and innovative leader who translates business vision into HR initiatives that enhance performance, growth, and employee engagement. Kim thrives in supporting companies, organizations, managers, and senior leadership with the perspective that employees are the greatest asset. She brings a disciplined and flexible problem-solving approach that balances company goals and objectives with employee needs and interests. Kim has a strong business acumen, thriving on best practice & streamlining, and believes in working smarter not harder. Kim also enjoys working with companies that celebrate and promote their employees’ career growth and development.
Kim resides with her family in Wyomissing, PA and has been married to her favorite HR mentor and fellow business partner, Tom, since 2000. Together they have three adult children, Courtney, Camryn and Ella and love boating, fishing, campfires, traveling, eating good food, playing with their dog Clover and two cats Vivian and Pearl, and spending quality time with family and friends.

TAMARA DELORETTA
HR Consultant & Client Relationship Director
Tamara is a dynamic professional who graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science degree. Since joining Hubric Resources in 2016 as the Business Manager, she has rapidly advanced within the organization, demonstrating a keen passion and aptitude for recruiting and human resources. Her roles have expanded to include Recruiter and HR Consultant, where she has excelled in a variety of areas including onsite HR Generalist assignments, HR Audits and Assessments, Employee Handbooks, Recruiting, Benefits Administration, Workers' Compensation, Credentialing, and Compliance.
In 2021, Tamara further enhanced her impact at Hubric Resources by taking on the role of Client Relationship Director. In this capacity, she leverages her exceptional networking and relationship-building skills to forge strong, enduring partnerships.
Tamara is an active member of the Berks County Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) serving at the chapter Sponsorship Chair, the National Chapter of SHRM, and the Small Business Resource Association, underscoring her commitment to professional development and industry excellence.
Residing in Berks County with her husband Danny and their two daughters, Paige and Lillyanne, Tamara is also an avid outdoors enthusiast. She enjoys hiking, backpacking, kayaking, practicing yoga, and traveling, embracing every opportunity to explore and connect with nature.


DOREEN KUTZLER
Senior HR Consultant
Doreen has been with Hubric Resources since 2019, bringing with her a wealth of experience across diverse industries such as construction supply, medical device manufacturing, healthcare services, and utilities. With over 30 years in Human Resources, her expertise covers Interim HR Support, Labor Relations, Conflict Resolution, Change Management, Benefits Administration, Recruitment and Retention, and Employee Relations. Despite this broad spectrum, Doreen remains grounded as an HR Generalist by passion.
Active in professional communities, she's a member of the Berks County Chapter and the National Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), along with being a faculty member at the Wellness Council of America (WELCOA). Outside of work, she dedicates her time to volunteer work at the Berks County Animal Rescue League.
Away from the office, Doreen's heart lies with horses and her farm life with husband, Paul. Her downtime is filled with horse companionship, gardening for fresh vegetables, and tending to their chicken flock. The quiet mornings in the barn are her form of therapy, as she believes horses offer insight into one's emotions, a philosophy that has strengthened her HR approach over time.
BRITTANY KOLB
Senior HR Consultant
Bringing over 15 years of experience in a broad range of human resources management, Brittany is a seasoned professional with a dynamic style that adapts well to all work environments. Brittany compliments her work experience with a strong educational foundation, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Bloomsburg University, a Master’s degree in Human Resources and Employee Relations from Penn State University, as well as a Labor Relations Certificate from the University of Wisconsin. Brittany is also certified as a SHRM-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) through HRCI.
Throughout her career, Brittany has honed her expertise across a comprehensive spectrum of HR specialties. Her experience encompasses Recruitment, Talent Management, Benefits Administration, Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), Workers’ Compensation, Training & Development, Employee Relations, Investigations, HR Policy Development and Compliance, and Union Relations. Brittany’s passion for fostering team building and leadership development has led her to become a certified DiSC trainer, and as a certified training facilitator through Development Dimensions International (DDI). These roles enable her to deliver impactful training programs that drive employee engagement and professional growth. Whether it's crafting effective HR strategies, resolving complex employee relations issues, or designing innovative training initiatives, Brittany brings a unique blend of expertise, passion, and dedication to every aspect of her work as a Senior HR Consultant.
Brittany lives in Lancaster, PA with her husband, Ryan, and three children, Emalyn, Lawson and Lincoln. She enjoys going to the gym, family movie nights and spending weekends at the beach. Brittany is also a huge Penn State football fan…WE ARE!


DENISE GARMAN
Senior HR Consultant
Denise Garman, Senior HR Consultant, joined Hubric Resources in April 2023. She has over 25 years of HR experience and specializes in assisting clients with leadership training and coaching, employee relations, HR audits, employee handbooks, and policy/procedure review and development.
Denise completed her BSBA with an HR concentration from Shippensburg University and has her MBA from Temple University. Denise is also certified as a Senior Professional in HR (SPHR) through the HR Certification Institute (HRCI). She started her undergraduate education as an Accounting major but transitioned to HR upon realizing that she enjoyed the people aspect of work rather than the numbers. Denise describes herself as “always having a passion for being a leader and growing and developing the leadership and HR skills in others.”
On a personal note, Denise enjoys taking group fitness classes and practicing yoga. Having been a trumpet player from fifth grade through college, she enjoys attending numerous school marching band events and band concerts for her son, Evan, and daughter, Haley. She even finds time to volunteer with the Cedar Crest Music Aides, the school’s band booster organization.
Denise also enjoys traveling as much as she can. Two of her favorite trips were to Hawaii for her honeymoon with her husband, Brian, and an Alaskan cruise with her family several years ago. This accomplished traveler has visited 37 states with a goal to visit all 50!
When not creating “aha” moments for her HR clients, Denise enjoys trying new restaurants and enjoying time with her family and friends. It is important to her to always find ways to do and be better while also finding the fun and humor in life. After all, her favorite quote from Maya Angelo is “Do the best you can until you know better. When you know better, do better.”
RACHEL SELLERS
HR Consultant
Rachel graduated from Millersville University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Management. She has over 10 years of experience in Human Resources in multiple industries. Rachel joined the team at Hubric Resources in September of 2021 and serves as an HR Consultant.
Rachel is a seasoned HR Generalist who also has experience in billing and payroll. Rachel has her Professional in Human Resources Certification that she completed in July 2021. Areas of HR that Rachel enjoys are Recruitment, Payroll, Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), Employee Relations, and Workers' Compensation. Rachel is dedicated to helping people and is focused on being a consultant with customer service at the forefront.
Rachel lives in Lancaster, PA with her husband John, two daughters, Elsie and Alana, and her German Shepard/ Husky Mix, Bruce. She loves quality time with them, whether it’s trips to the park, trying a new restaurant, or visiting with friends and family. Her guilty pleasures are ice cream and the Bachelor series.


CHRISTINE BROWN
Recruiter
Christine has over eight years of HR Consulting experience with an emphasis on recruiting. Christine earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Shippensburg University and a Master of Science degree in Human Relations & Counseling from Villanova University. She holds the SHRM-CP certification and is a member of both the National Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) as well as the local Berks County SHRM Chapter.
Christine absolutely loves recruiting and says, “It’s exciting to recruit in such a dynamic market! I find great satisfaction in hiring talent that allows employers to sustain and grow their business.” She especially enjoys supporting small businesses and helping them achieve their staffing goals.
Christine lives in Brecknock Township in Berks County, Pennsylvania. She enjoys exercising, reading and going on adventures with her family.
ALYSSA HERNANDEZ
HR Consultant
Alyssa graduated from Slippery Rock University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Administration and Management, with a minor in Business Management. As a young professional, Alyssa has a natural aptitude for building relationships and fostering positive workplace environments. With experience across all HR functions, Alyssa excels in navigating complex workplace dynamics and implementing effective strategies to enhance organizational performance. She has demonstrated success in managing recruitment campaigns, showcasing her strategic approach to talent acquisition.
Alyssa is passionate about continuous learning and is committed to staying current in the field. She is dedicated to expanding her expertise across various HR domains to better serve her team and organization.
Outside of work, Alyssa lives in Pittsburgh, PA, where she can be found enjoying any outdoor activity in the warmer months or snuggled watching a movie in the winter months. Growing up as one of five siblings, Alyssa developed exceptional people skills in the close-knit dynamics of her family. She particularly enjoys traveling with friends, exploring new destinations, and creating lasting memories.


MEREDITH MARRELLA
HR Consultant
Meredith earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Resources from Temple University’s Fox School of Business. She chose this path due to her fascination with the pivotal role HR professionals play in shaping workplace culture. Meredith joined Hubric Resources in 2024 after acquiring hands-on experience from two large corporations within the retail and transportation industries.
Driven by a passion for Succession Planning, and Talent Development, Meredith found her calling in the field of Human Resources. She thrives on finding the right talent, identifying the root cause, and leveraging her skills in relationship building and strategic partnership to foster positive workplace environments and facilitate employee growth and development.
Outside of work, Meredith enjoys staying busy with her son, Miles, husband, Chris and two dogs, Cash and Teddy. Whether she's trying to redesign every room in her house, working out or simply hanging out, Meredith finds joy and fulfillment spending quality time with her family.
